Teaching

Teaching in Alabama is proving to be a lot more complicated than I could have ever hoped for.  Applications, application fees, background checks, finger printing, testing, testing, testing, fees, fees, fees....you get the idea.  Well, good news!  I got the results from my first test and I passed!  I am so happy and relieved.  I did great on the math and reading sections and average on the writing.  One step closer to my certificate.  One step closer to long hours spent in the classroom, pouring over lessons and homework, putting up with naughty littles, having secret favorite littles, and [hopefully] making a difference in every one of their little lives.  I love teaching.  And the teacher in me is excited to start learning and gaining experience.
