We tried our luck on the slot machines at The Palace Casino in Biloxi. Curtis did way better than I did! It was pretty fun!
After the slot machines we ate lunch at The Shed in a little town in Mississippi. We've heard lots about this place, and it was on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives. So we thought we'd give it a try. It was literally a shed...picnic tables on gravel. But the food was pretty good! We think we like a different BBQ place in Daphne a little more, but it was great nonetheless.
On the fourth we fed the missionaries. They were our substitute family for the holiday away from our real families! We had a little cookout; hot dogs and hamburgers. Yum. And this year our fourth was so different than any we had experienced before. We watched fireworks from the beach! It really was fun. We took Mazie; and she was a wild animal there. We take her to the beach a lot, but there were lots of people so she had to stay on the leash. She loves to play in the sand. Which means we typically bring home lots of sand from her mess! :) Before the fireworks started we saw this beautiful sunset. It was perfect.
We took it pretty easy. We lounged about. Slept in. Were lazy. Saw Despicable Me 2; which I loved. It was perfect.
