Snow!

It snowed.  In Alabama.  It was not good. 

It's one thing for it to snow and be icey in Utah, where they have the means to deal with it.  And where people are {mostly} used to driving in the bad weather.  Not here.  No plows.  No salt.  No experienced drivers. 

To make matters worse; it sleeted, then got a little warmer, then froze again.  Making black ice.  Bad.  Bad.  Bad. 

People were stuck at work, school, and hospitals.  Some people were even stuck spending 8-9 hours in their car. 

On a positive note: Curtis and I had 2 days off together.  That, was a beautiful thing!  We spent the day lounging about.  And Mazie LOVED the snow!  At first she was tentative and cold.  But then she got playing in it and had a ball. 

This weekend it's supposed to get in to the 70s and I can't wait for it to be warm again!
