Day 4

On Friday, Curtis woke up bright and early to head up the canyon with my brother-in-law and dad to go to a fish hatchery at Bear Lake.  My brother-in-law works up there and at this time of year the fish, cut throat, are spawning and the guys who work there basically do the spawning for the fish and take the fertilized eggs to the fish hatchery {as far as I understand it}.  Curtis had a blast!  He really likes fish/fishing stuff.

I slept in that morning, but slowly made my way over to my sisters house to play with her and Saywer.  We walked to the park and Tyanna made me french toast for lunch.  It was nice and chill.  Then we met Kaylee and Stratton at a shaved ice shak and they were SO YUMMY!    After we enjoyed that treat, we went our separate ways.

I went back to Curtis' parents house to help Curtis get started on dinner.  We cooked both of our families one of our favorite southern meals: dirty rice.  It's so easy and so good.  It was a pretty big hit and people really liked it!  All of my family was there; minus Bryce who was working.  Most every one from Curtis' family was there as well.  We had quite a good group and it was so much fun to enjoy the nice evening weather that Utah summers provide, and it was such a pleasure to be with so much family.

Pictures!

Sharing my ice cream cone with my two favorite boys!  I didn't get any cause they ate it all!  :)
